Vintage Heart Events is a labor of love that began with one simple fact;  I love weddings!  I love my brides, I love my grooms, I love their parents, I love the food & flowers but, above all, I love organizing the madness that leads up to that special day.  My first experience with this was my own wedding in 2002.  I thought I had it all handled, not realizing what could happen in the days leading up to or especially on the day of.  Having to pick up beer kegs with curlers in my hair, or rush over to sign for the rental delivery while getting my make up done, was nuts!  While it was one of the happiest days of my life, I now know how valuable a planner & coordinator would have been.

As a Catering Sales Director for the Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center, I gained a wealth of knowledge working with weddings/events of all shape, size and budget.  Continuing my journey at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa,  I oversaw the execution of large scale production weddings & events, while working with all departments of a 5 Diamond Resort for a truly successful wedding weekend.  Managing hotel room blocks, organizing golf & spa activities, planning a welcome reception barn or a farewell brunch poolside,  all contributed to the experience needed to branch out on my own.

With this experience over 12 years in the wedding & events industry, Vintage Heart is dedicated to making your dream and vision come true, while helping maintain your budget and ease your planning.  We will manage  the minute wedding details such as shopping for reputable vendors, reviewing contracts, extinguishing "fires" that arise on the wedding day.
